Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The material was very interesting. It applied an older topic to material today. It was focused on the sheep, sheepdog and wolf and compared it to literature such as American Sniper. The professor also challenged the class to think deeply about characters in literature and which category they fit into.

    Course highlights:

The class makes you really think about what category you fit into and how you want to live your life. The topic of the class really widens your eyes to how people act and makes you question what makes someone a good or bad person.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Take notes and really focus on writing a good paper. You have to write one about every week so spend a good amount of time on it making sure you use the techniques shown that week.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The professor is a tough grader but is passionate and entertaining in class. My writing abilities greatly improved due to this course.

I learned grammar and a better writing process than I had been using.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you actually read the book. Looking up summaries and sparknotes will not work for this course.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Mackall is a great professor because he cares about each student's improvement. He makes time for one on one meetings.

    Course highlights:

I learned how important it is to make revisions to a paper. And that the first draft with never be perfect so go ahead and just get your ideas down on paper.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Be sure and manage your time to write the papers outside of class with enough time for him to read the drafts and give revisions
