    | No strong feelings either way.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

The course is easy. I would recommend it if you just need the credit.

I learned about all the basics of the earth's environment and it's problems.

    Hours per week:

    Advice for students:

Study for the exams a week in advance and communicate well with your other classmates for the debate projects.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I loved learning the materials, but the professor made it extremely boring. He is one of the reasons I will be changing my major.

    Course highlights:

I loved the papers we had to write because we could pick any environmental issue and just go to town. I wrote about a lot of controversial topics which the professor loved. These papers allowed the students to show what they were passionate about and showed why we were all in this course.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

You will need a passion for the environment or else you are going to find this course very boring. Be patient especially with the professor because you may know most of the material, but he slows things down a lot for other students.

    | Would highly recommend.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

ENVS 1010 was a pretty easy and interesting course. Dr. Hensley is very enthusiastic about environmentalism and really respects his students. He does everything he can to help and the class provides a basic introduction to the subject with some case studies, that are interesting and engaging.

    Course highlights:

I learned about basic environmental issues, current and past. I also learned a bit about the psychology behind environmentalism and some of the founding fathers of environmentalism.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

There are a lot of in-class activities, so going to class is imperative as there is not much work outside of class.
