Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course was twice a week, on Tuesdays and Thursdays. For me, this course was required for a marketing major. It was not too hard, but it wasn't a walk in the park. We had 5 exams and regular homework. These things made up out grade. The nice part about having 5 exams, was having the opportunity to bounce back after a poor exam grade.

    Course highlights:

Although this was a calculus course, there was quite a lot of algebra. We learned many new concepts and applied them in our work. Gram was an awesome teacher and kept things lively. I would definitely recommend taking his course if he teaches another. He isn't a professor at the school, he was just hired to take the class.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't be afraid to take basic calculus! The class isn't too scary and also counts for 5 credit hours. Get your homework done early so it doesn't because a problem. If you study for the tests thoroughly, an A is definitely possible to obtain.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Nate is an amazing teacher who teaches the step by step process of calculus extremely well. The homework reflects exactly what will be on the exam and the only way you'll fail the class is if you don't study the material. Attendance is not required but it is highly suggested if you are unable to teach yourself the material.

    Course highlights:

Math. Although it is a pretty basic answer this class taught me how to calculate important business functions and introduced me to some equations I previously had no experience with. It was an awesome class and I really enjoyed it.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Study, Calc is extremely easy when you get the pattern of things. Once you understand how to do specific eqations and functions calc is no different from algebra. If you are having difficulties there is a plethora of online sources that can easily give you an edge.
