Not too easy. Not too difficult.
I love this class, even though it really has nothing to do with my major, the professor is amazing and the class is really interesting. Also, if you enjoyed science class in high school, this is definitely a class you'll love and it will come relatively easy to you.
I have learned a ton about the composition of the earth and the specifics of things like plate tectonics or the makeup of magma. The differences between different types of rocks and where to find them. The best part is that the professor is very clearly excited about what she's teaching and tries to keep her students involved. She also understands that college is hard and exams are stressful so she offers lots of extra credit to make sure you can pass the class.

Advice for students:
This is a class that you MUST show up to in order to pass. There's a lot of information so skipping class is not an option, you have to pay attention to details, that's what will help you pass this class. I recommend sitting in the front and putting your phone away. If you miss the introduction of a topic, odds are you'll be lost for a little while. I also used a lot of index cards when studying for the exams, the second one tends to sneak up on you so be aware of your exam dates!
