    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Christy is a professor that certainly has her own agenda. You're going to get a lot of opinions from her and she may challenge your personal thoughts. And that's what learning is all about.

    Course highlights:

This course is not a lot of work and you still feel like you're learning. It's easy without wasting your time.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Go in knowing your own opinions on the world. And then begin to question everything. I didn't agree with every idea discussed in the course. But everyone can grow from questioning what they think they know.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The teacher is very passionate about what she is teaching and will tell you everything you need to know to be successful in your career. She also challenges you to think about topics that may be touchy or hard to talk about.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot more about my major and what it entails and also about the students that I will be helping in the future. I also learned the history of special education which is important to see how far we have come and how much farther we have to go.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Just go to class, it will be beneficial for you in the long run. Also the classes are interesting and so its not as bad to sit through. She is also a very understanding teacher and will work with you on anything.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

While this course is not that difficult, you do learn a lot throughout the semester. Your grade requires you to attend every class, because random points are given. The professor is very willing to help you, but you need to be willing to ask for help.

    Course highlights:

From taking this course, I gained knowledge about students with mental and physical exceptionalities. This allowed me to be more open minded about what certain students may need in order to achieve their full potential during their academic experience.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

If you plan on taking this course, I would recommend that attend class every time that it is in session. If you do not attend class on a regular basis, you will miss out on vital information and it will greatly affect your grade.
