    This class was tough.

This class is very informative. Anyone who leaves this class without being 100% fully prepared for the real world obviously did not pay attention. This class gives you all the tools you need to succeed in the real world.

    Course highlights:

In addition to the basic introductory work, such as the code of ethics and all about the field of social work, we learned various counseling techniques, proper documentation, and clinical practice.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

If you have Dr. Mason for this or any other course at BGSU, study hard. Pay attention. Dr. Mason is a great instructor, he is very knowledgeable and has a lot of wisdom to offer, but he expects students to do their part. Do not come to class late. Do not turn in work late. Do not ask for extensions. This should all be a given at the college level, but it is extremely important to know for Dr. Mason. Dr. Mason takes his job seriously, and so should you.
