    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Not only is this class easy as long as you show up and memorize things, this professor is so much fun! He makes the rather dry topics interesting and engaging, and the things that you learn can be applied to whatever program you're in, not just theatre.

    Course highlights:

I gained the ability to speak in front of people I know nothing about, who know nothing about me, and whom I will never need to impress. But now I know that I can impress some random people with my reenactment of Sir Winston Churchill's "We Shall Fight on the Beaches" speech.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

All you really need is a willingness to memorize material, and a general understanding of that material. Do your homework on whatever item you choose, know it really well, and have fun!

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because of the teacher. My professor is so much fun and he makes everything easy. I am someone that has always struggled with performing in front of everyone else and this professor makes it so easy on you. You're allowed to start over and if you need to then you can sit back down and have someone else go and you can take a break.

    Course highlights:

The highlights were definitely the friends I made. This is a requirement for any student that wants to be an high school english teacher and I was able to make a bunch of friends with people in my major. I learned a lot about performing and during the poetry unit, I learned a lot about poetry as well. Which is something that I didn't learn a lot about in high school.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Definitely starting finding the ways that help you memorize. There is a lot of memorization in this course. Also, don't put things off to the last minute. There are very little assignments but they take up time so you don't want to wait.
