    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I am going to school to be a School Psychologist. So, it made sense to take this psychology class about child development. I absolutely love Dr. Tisak. We made name tags and she randomly chooses students to answer questions. At first, I hated that idea but then started to like it. It causes us to keep paying attention. She has in class assignments that helps me better understand the material in class. I always leave that class feelings like I learned something, unlike other classes. She includes everyone and does everything she can to help us understand what she is teaching. I plan to take another class that she teaches and I would definitely recommend this course to everyone.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot of different things about the development of children from conception to 11 years of age. She taught about studies that people have done on children and explained basic genes and their disorders in children. Nothing we learned was boring to me, she always made it fun.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

You definitely need to study in advance. She stresses in the beginning of the semester, and I am stressing now, STUDY AHEAD OF TIME. It will make things a lot easier. After every class, I would go back and make flashcards on all the notes we went over. If I had time after, I would study all the note cards from previous classes, as well.
