    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course is a great opportunity to develop an understanding of how mathematical models are constructed to understand the relationship between inputs and outputs in any biomedical system. This is an important skill to have for any biomedical research career.

    Course highlights:

During one part of the course, Professor Ajiboye explains how music can be understand from a signal analysis perspective, and shows how music can be broken down mathematically in MATLAB.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

The textbook for this course is really well-written, and I recommend reading it before each class so that lectures are easy to follow. Also, completing the optional homework assignments will make the in-class quizzes (a large part of your grade) seem more straightforward.
