Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This class is required for all Electrical Engineering majors and is also required by a specific BME class so for many of us taking it is not a choice. However with that being said, I found this class to be very enjoyable because it greatly expanded on what was learned in an entry level circuits class. The class can be difficult so it is important to never slack off.

    Course highlights:

Definitely my highlight from this course was the final design project. For this project your lab group had to build an AM transceiver. It was a ton of fun because it was the first time in our curriculum where we got to build a circuit that may actually be used for real world applications. I definitely learned a lot about practical engineering practices like how to reduce noise in your designs.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

To succeed in this course you need to be willing to learn and willing to pay attention in class. Professor Mohseni's lectures are very thorough and he is helpful in office hours if you do not understand something. Also try to keep an open mind about the course!
