    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

    Waddell does a great job teaching the material, even at 8 am. He always makes an effort to keep students engaged and learning.

    Course highlights:

    Any sort of demonstration made this class even more engaging than it was.

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

    Make sure you study regularly, the exams will be harder than you think.

    Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

    Although it was required that I take it for my major, I actually enjoyed it. I took the time to learn what I needed to and It was enjoyable getting the questions right and doing well on the tests.

    Course highlights:

    I learned about the chemistry of things I see in my daily life that I previously had no clue existed.

    Advice for students:

    Definitely read and study. Make flashcards, do practice problems, and study a little each day.

    Course Overview:

    Knowledge in chemistry is essential to many degrees. This course gives an introduction to basic chemistry skills. It is in a large lecture hall. However, the course makes use of technology to have students answer questions that ensure understanding during class and assist with studying and homework outside of class.

    This course teaches basic chemistry skills that are essential to know as you build on your education.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

    Be prepared to put a lot of time in this course. While it is an intro class, the material will only get harder from here. It is imperative to have a strong foundation to build upon. Make use of the study tools and be sure to read the book and you will succeed in the class.
