    | Would highly recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class, because it shares information that isn't always talked about in American history. This is a dark past that America wants to keep covered up, but it is important for everyone to understand this history. The history of slavery might just be the most essential history that students need to learn about.

    Course highlights:

In this course I learned some of the most horrific truths of slavery. Slaves were packed on a ship, body to body, in order to fit as many slaves as they good. They were brought over seas to foreign land where they would be beaten, separated from family, and even killed. The highlight of the course was when I learned a theory that slave owners used the bible in order to teach slaves to obey their master. They taught them that if they obeyed their master their would be a place in heaven for them to.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

The teacher I had for this course offered lots of extra credit. It is important to take advantage of all extra credit. Also you must go through the readings and read from page to page. She gave us pop quizzes and pop essays.
