Pretty easy, overall.
I would highly recommend this course to all engineers. No matter what side of engineering you go into, you're going to need to know how to either design a part in 3D modeling or you're going to need to know how to read a blueprint of a design.
The highlights of course is the ability to go into a class and not know how to use an entire program, them coming out of it with the knowledge and skillsets that are crucial in development aspects of engineering.

Advice for students:
The world is moving to computers. Not many people know how to use 3D modeling so if you know it, you're highly valued. It would be extraordinarily helpful to take this class. Even if it's not a required course to take, it will help you land jobs you may not have gotten otherwise. I believe that I landed my current co-op position because I had a strong background in solidworks.
