    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because I was given the opportunity to learn various roots and suffixes that helped in the rest of my science based classes. It truly made my life easier because I was able to piece together words that I did not previously know to make sense of it all. Before the class, I wish I knew how to teach myself. Because this is an online course, I had to teach myself all of the material and find effective ways to do so. For example, I found flash cards worked well. This course is a wonderful building block for all medical students and really expands your knowledge.

    Course highlights:

From this course, I gained knowledge of countless roots and suffixes of medical words that are used in hospitals every single day. Because the vocabulary is crucial in the medical field, this is so helpful in all of the following courses required.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

To succeed in this course, definitely create flash cards and practice them whenever given the chance. It is all memorization so a matching game, quizlet, etc.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This class helped me break down the meaning of all medical words. For example I now know that all bones are "ortho" so I know that and orthopedist is a bone doctor. itis is swelling so I know that any word ending in Itis means swollen

    Course highlights:

This class was required for my major. I learned a lot of good information

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

study a lot, its a lot of memoriazation
