Pretty easy, overall.
Interesting course taught by a great instructor who is very enthusiastic about the material being taught. He teaches through homework rather than test so there are lots of opportunities to ensure you know the material without destroying your grade in the process.
I generally enjoyed the material as controls engineering is my career path of choice. I learned a lot about classical control methods, receiving a good foundation in both time and frequency response methods for controller design. The text for the course is very well thought out with great examples for both introductory materials and those who want to go deeper with the subject.

Advice for students:
Do the homework! Professor Black teaches primary through the homework so if you neglect the homework you will not have a great understanding of the material.
