    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Doctor Mosley is a kind-hearted woman who really cares about the education and success of all her students. She constantly gives you pep talks to keep you on that path towards your goal and is extremely helpful and understanding when it comes to grading exams and when making decisions on final grades.

    Course highlights:

Flipped Classroom - There's more focus on material rather than the professor herself. Solo / Group Quizzes - She gives a "pre-prs quiz" that you do alone to see where you're at with past and present material and also a "post-prs quiz" throughout the rest of the lecture to further develop your skills as a group, and a team, to come to simple conclusions. This course was definitely the best I could've taken to help my transition from high-school study habits and the amount of personal time I gave to myself. I learned to juggle my responsibilities in a much more mature way and look forward to my college career with a new mindset on how these hard science courses work.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you do your learning outcomes! These are extremely important because they will be the main talking points of each lecture; also your quizzes will be focusing the specific learning outcomes that the professor asks us to complete. If there's any personal advice I can give you, it's this: make sure you get to know the group that's assigned to you; it's hard enough to make friends in such stressful environments so make an effort to get to know one another as you're in this for the long haul!

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

His teaching style is different which is a good and bad thing. In my case, it was bad because I have been taught the same way for years and when I got to college, it stressed me out like crazy.

    Course highlights:

I learned that his style of teaching led to my better understandings of biology and how it incorporates to the real world.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Write detailed learning outcomes so you are prepared for the quizzes at the beginning of class
