    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I've never had a more engaging yet challenging course! The teacher is so passionate about the history he teaches, it's easy to get caught up in what he's talking about. The immense understanding that I had of history and the way our world works today from this class continues to blow me away and inspire me. I even thought about changing my major from journalism to politics and history!

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course was of course the professor, who was thorough in what he taught but still held students to a certain standard. If you were willing to work in his class, you would do well. If you engaged with him during class and asked questions, he wanted you to do well. I've never had a class where so many students raised their hands.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Read the book, take thorough notes in class. A lot of what's mentioned in class isn't mentioned in the book, but if you've taken notes from the book in class, you'll only have to write down the essential things he says in class. Also, he does hold you accountable. He is a tough grader. But so worth the time.
