    | Would highly recommend.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would absolutely recommend this course to anyone attending Cleveland State that is required to take history. When it comes to history as a whole, I generally dislike the subject. It's not so much that I don't want to know about our history, it the fact that I find much of it boring and because of that it is difficult for me to retain the information and pass the classes. This what not the case with this course. The professor made this course enjoyable, and I aced every assignment and test. There were great discussions, and I felt like my opinion was valued even when it differed from the majority of the class.

    Course highlights:

I learned plenty of new things about African American history. We even discussed current events which got interesting since Obamas second election was occurring during the time our class was in session.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Do all of the reading. Small details will ben on all the tests. And pay attention to discussions in class. Take notes!
