Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

If you plan to go into any field relating to computers, take this course! I would summarize it as advanced info. tech.. Even if you may be in high school and have already taken info. tech. you should still take the course. You can transfer this class to a good amount of colleges and this will save you time and money in the long run.

    Course highlights:

There's more to Excel than just calculating numbers. It can also be used to create a mailing list or track school work. Word can be used to edit images, draw vector shapes, and create a nice, not boring, looking resume. You dive below the surface level of most of Microsoft Office apps, and learn more than what you probably would on your own.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you know the differences between two programs. Many MS (Microsoft) programs can do similar things but have different ways to do it.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it teaches basic uses of a computer that could apply to any college course. The information is highly versatile.

    Course highlights:

Learning the basics of Microsoft Excel was really interesting. It was very useful to learn and could apply to many other college. Courses. I also enjoyed learning the basics of Access.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Most of the instructions are step by step, so follow each step throughly and be sure to retain everything the steps told you to do. Also take any of the practice test they offer and use them to study.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Easy to follow class. Everything was laid out nicely which made it easy to follow along and know what to do next. Even though it was easy to follow along, I still felt I learned some new things.

    Course highlights:

The lessons on Excel were especially helpful because I had not used that particular program more than a handful of times previously.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I was concerned that taking a computer class online might be a challenge but it was not a problem at all. Definitely a good choice if you are looking to take some online classes.
