    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The classroom is setup backwards. This is a creative way of learning and the professor preferred this to be the way of learning in the classroom. This way of teaching may work for some students and that's great, but as i could tell from the other students as well, it was not the way we had been taught before. This put a strain on our learning. I think everyone would have learned and achieved more if we had been taught in class instead of online through videos.

    Course highlights:

I liked getting to work with my peers on practice problems. This made it easy to make new friends and made it easier to understand the concepts.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

My advice for anyone considering this course is to ask yourself if you would be able to learn from only online videos. This was the only way of teaching unless you ask specific questions in class. This is another piece of advice. Ask questions!

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Course was easy but requires you keeping up with notes and classwork.

    Course highlights:

Mostly algebra based problems. Some graphing towards the end which I personally didnt enjoy even though it wasn't too brutal.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Always do the homework for practice for the exam!

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Marketos is a good teacher. He has office hours and lets the students know about them. He also gives multiple opportunities in class for people to ask questions during his lessons. I took the blended option and didn't have to buy the book because it was made available to me online. The notes were thorough and helped me a lot.

    Course highlights:

It was like an algebra 2 high school course. We slightly went into trig. We went over graphs and graph types. Most of the course was graphs but we went over other things as well.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Pay attention to the notes and ask questions when you don't understand things. Multiple things in the course are built on with other topics. The tests are easy as long as you pay attention to the notes and go to class.
