    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend taking the medical terminology course at CSCC for anyone who is currently interested in the medical field- it provides a wonderful introduction to building terms, learning root words and skimming the surface of medical complications that affect the different body systems. It was truly riveting.

    Course highlights:

I think the most valuable thing I received from taking this course as a high school senior was that it gave me a taste of what college was about and strengthened my interest in the medical field by challenging me mentally while being enjoyable.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would say to any student looking to take med term at Columbus State is to just study, make sure you truly understand the root words and how it is they fit together with prefixes and suffixes. Make flash cards, create a quizlet and study whenever possible.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class to anyone interested in going into the medical field. You learn lots of information that will help you in other classes to better understand material.

    Course highlights:

The highlight of this course was when it was over and being able to look back at all of the new information that I had learned throughout the semester. I learned many things from medical abbreviations to the medical names for nearly every part in the body.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

While taking this class, I would suggest to take the time and study the material. Also studying with a partner will also help you and the other person to help each other with learning and pronouncing the terms you are learning.
