    | Would recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it is an elementary chemistry course, to be taken if you haven't taken a college level chemistry, or completed high school chemistry within three years. This class took a lot of work. Especially if you are someone who has trouble understanding the concepts of chemistry , like myself.

    Course highlights:

I feel I learned a lot about chemistry in this course. This is the first time I had taken chemistry ever, and I was ignorant to the amount of work it would take to understand it. It was a lot of work, a lot of studying, and frustration. But I did well. The lab component was a lot of fun. Applying what we had learned in class, in lab, was very helpful in completing the understanding.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Studying outside of the classroom is really important for this course. Using the textbook, finding worksheets online, and using notes from class, is essential for passing this class. I felt I was constantly studying, but that was because I had trouble wrapping my brain around certain theories and formulas.
