    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The 5 week class was over so quickly it barely even felt long at all.

    Course highlights:

I gained a lot of knowledge about certain writing techniques and as well has how to work in groups.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

You need to be able to set a dedicated time to work on the school work.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

The instructor was very passionate english and academic literacy

    Course highlights:

The highlight for me were during our classtime. The instructor would have us to explain the concepts of academic literacy and how we can use it, say on our jobs. I learned to a new way to approach my classes.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Engage yourself in learning process with the instructor. He is fascinating!

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course with this instructor because she makes writing fun! Before it felt like there was a set in stone catalog of rules to follow when writing and a certain format to follow, instead Hollie V. kind of throws that out the window and lets you be free in order to allow creative flow and a fun environment.

    Course highlights:

That writing didn't have to be robotic, you don't have to follow the guidelines high school would drill into your head about writing. You can be free and write as much as you want as long as you narrow it down, clean it up and make sense of it to fit your prompt.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Dont go in with the mindset of it being like your last 101 teacher. I took 101 with a different teacher and it was completely different styles of teaching. Hollie V. made the class a lot easier and stress free for us.
