    | Would recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

For any science major, it is strongly encouraged to take General Chemistry. I wish I would have taken an introductory course in high school, because technically this course is a level above 130.

    Course highlights:

Highlights to this course include learning about all of the stories behind every discovery. Nachman is a great storyteller and would tell us all the crazy things scientists would do to prove their theories or tell us about their failures. I won't go into detail about the stories so you'll have to take the class to listen to them!

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

The material is covered and Dr. Nachman will not have a test on anything until he has covered it in class which is really nice. Just be sure to do the online homework which I would recommend starting early in advance because it has 20 questions per chapter that are fairly difficult and time consuming. I would also highly recommend reading and taking notes in the textbook because the textbook goes into deeper explanations and shows and explains all of the diagrams of the experiments which you will need to know for the tests!
