Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

When I first enrolled into college I knew I had to take this class. Intro into the Exceptional Learner (or EDU 222) really reassured me that this is the career I wanted. I had the chance to go to a middle school in Mesa and be an assistant teacher. It was an amazing experience, and I hope that everyone in college gets to have the same experience.

    Course highlights:

I really learned the ups and downs of teaching. That there are amazing heartfelt experiences, and also heartbreaking stories. Overall teaching is about being able to show children they have so many opportunities available to them. That you might be that helping hand to show them what they are capable of.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

The best advice I can give is to go in to the class with an open mind. Be open to new experiences and trust your instincts.
