    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Not only is the information studied interesting, Jared is also a phenomenal teacher. He makes the class fun, productive, and connected to the real world.

    Course highlights:

I enjoyed learning about what marketing is and where you can go with it (from public relations to sales to branding and more). As part of our course, we also had to create our own marketing plan for a real or imagined company. I liked applying what I was learning and seeing what it was really like to be a marketer. We also had to create a commercial for our company. These two aspects demonstrated different marketing avenues and were very beneficial. I also liked that Jared had all his power point notes online that I downloaded before class and then added to them as needed (way less note-taking needed).

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Be prepared to work and be prepared to have fun! You will learn a lot in this course - whether you want to go into business, have any experience in marketing or whether you are learning this for your own company. I also strongly urge you to download and print all of the power point notes BEFORE class! The lectures can go quickly and you don't want to waste your time writing down information that is already there! It's enjoyable to just listen and participate.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I took this class with professor Collins online for the Disney college program for the internship credit and it was great!

    Course highlights:

It's part of the Disney college program so it's great! I learned everything of the Disney company, living with roommates, relying on public transportation, and how to budget yourself.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Do it! Don't wait and just do it! It is a great experience, an easy course and it going to be the best time of your life!
