    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Organic Chemistry is incredibly difficult as it is, and Dr. Zikopolous will absolutely help you gain an understanding of the material- but he expects you to learn it yourself out of class, and come to class prepared to do practice problems. He doesn't lecture very much, which makes the course extremely difficult if you aren't good at learning from the textbook. If you end up taking his course, be prepared to do a lot of self-teaching. Khan Academy has a fantastic series of chemistry lectures that even use the same examples as he does in lecture, and will help you a ton. If you need lectures, Khan Academy has them.

    Course highlights:

Dr. Zikopolous is very good at one thing- forcing his students to think creatively and devise ingenious solutions to seemingly impossible problems. Make no mistake, if you want a challenging course that will force you to become a better student, this is it.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

WATCH THE ORGANIC CHEMISTRY LECTURES ON KHAN ACADEMY. Read the textbook and do the practice problems. Talk to Dr. Zikopolous during his office hours and ask questions in class. Volunteer to do questions on the board. He will push you to be a better student.
