This course really focuses on the depth of issues associated with media and the upbringing of certain families or cultures. There is a lot of fast-pace reading that needs to be done before each class session, but the class consists mainly of many class discussions, a few minor papers, and one or two major assignments.
This course brought to life the understanding of how detrimental the law can be when analyzing the life of certain individuals. Once you're in the criminal system, your image is majorly affected and it's hard to law enforcement to perceive you differently.

Taking this class with open up your eyes on many pressing issues, not only in the US, but also within other countries. You will be able to understand how Sociology and Anthropology work together to create very analytical pieces of work that provide a new perspective of life.
