Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This class is very intriguing because it deeply touches on both the major and minor issues in society dealing with equality and societal norms.

    Course highlights:

I was able to connect the lessons touched upon in the course to other courses I was taking or had taken. There were many overlapping topics that connected all of my courses such as: the role the male gaze plays in many cultures and media, the ways in which media influences a person's beliefs or life style, gender inequality and differences, racial privileges, etc. Feminism addresses the goal of achieving equality and justice for all, not just for females.

    Hours per week:

    Advice for students:

Whether you're considering to take this course or not, take it! It will help you understand why certain aspects of life have become what they are today, it may help you connect the course content to other courses and develop better comprehension, and you never know -- maybe you'll find that the course is something you want to major or minor in and study further!! After taking this course, I found that I was really passionate about the subject and am possibly considering minoring in it!
