    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Along with being a very interesting course, Dr. HC always makes herself available to students. The small class size makes everyone feel close. She'll stop to explain and spend more time on material she knows is more difficult for that specific class. Overall, there are weekly lab reports, exams, a final, a presentation, and other small assignments. So many assignments make it so exams don't weigh too heavily on your final grade. Ultimately, Dr. HC wants you to succeed in her class and will help you and make helpful comments on your assignments.

    Course highlights:

This class emphasized a lot about how the brain works and the different chemical reactions that we have. Dr. HC focuses on a lot of case studies which helps to understand how to apply different psychological ideas and theories. She covers all of the basic of psychology and uses the designated labs for students to apply different theories.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would suggest starting all of your lab reports the day you do the lab. Dr. HC will help you if you have a question, but not at the very last minute. If you do your lab reports early enough, you can get any questions you may have answered. I also suggest understanding the material that is going to be on an exam instead of just memorizing it. Most of the exam questions want you to apply what you've learned instead of just repeating information.
