Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course is fairly tough, but very worth it. I learned a great deal in this class! I was nervous about the course because I had heard it was very difficult, but if you are interested it is not too bad. There is definitely work to be done, but it is interesting and builds on itself week by week.

    Course highlights:

Everyone is assigned a country to research. We dive deep into the research and learn a ton about the country. At the end of the course we have to find a problem we have found within the country and a way we think would fix, or help the issue. Then everyone gives a power point presentation on their country, and brings some kind of food or drink to share with the class. It was great!

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Do the work! It is worth it in the end. It does seem like a lot, but students will learn more than they expected to.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This was an outstanding class and provided great insight to global issues throughout the world. The class required students to research, interview, and write papers about a selected country given in the first 2 weeks of the class. It also required students to read certain chapters in the required text for more insight.

    Course highlights:

I learned how global governments, laws, regulation, religions, and cultures impact other countries throughout the entire world.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Get started early on the research for the country selected and prepare for interviews and phone calls ahead of time. Give plenty of time for research and paper writing.
