    Course Overview:

    Corporate finance is the area of finance dealing with the sources of funding and the capital structure of corporations and the actions that managers take to increase the value of the firm to the shareholders, as well as the tools and analysis used to allocate financial resources.

    Course highlights:

    This course provides a brief introduction to the fundamentals of finance, emphasizing their application to a wide variety of real-world situations spanning personal finance, corporate decision-making, and financial intermediation. Key concepts and applications include: time value of money, risk-return tradeoff, cost of capital, interest rates, retirement savings, mortgage financing, auto leasing, capital budgeting, asset valuation, discounted cash flow (DCF) analysis, net present value, internal rate of return, hurdle rate, payback period.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    I advise student to focus on every concept , understand every matter to pass in this course

    Course Overview:

    Although the class was challenging at times, it was very informational.

    Course highlights:

    I got a better understanding of balance sheets and financial statements.

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

    Make sure that you come prepared to learn and try to stay on track the entire time. If you run into a problem make sure you ask for help because if you getting too far behind you will not be able to catch up.
