    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

    Doctor Wideman is a good instructor and very knowledgeable on the subject. This course will test your study skills and prepare you for upper level courses.

    Course highlights:

    Learning about how kidneys work and hormone pathways was fun. This course covers a lot of topics about animal and plant anatomy and physiology.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

    You must be a dedicated student to do well in this course. I recommend that students make flashcards and read through their notes as soon as a lecture is over. Be sure to read the book and if you can, read ahead. Lastly, make practice tests and have someone grade them a couple days prior to the exam.

    Extremely difficult but ever thorough. Sets you up for other courses in biology.

    Course highlights:

    The course a lot of plant biology which is helpful for Biology III

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

    Study every night to be prepared for the quizzes and tests.
