    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

While the course is a requirement for graduation, I would never suggest taking it with Dr. Ortega. As a 101 course, she is brutal in grading and unfortunately she not make clear what she is looking for. While the class was interesting and the professor may be good for upper level philosophy courses, as 101 course you will need background on how to write philosophy papers, which she does not help with.

    Course highlights:

We cover philosophers such as Kant, not ancient philosophers such as Socrotes

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not take unless you have a good understanding on how to properly write a philosophy paper coming into the course.
