    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The professor was very difficult and did not really teach at an introduction level. In addition i felt as though you had to answer homework and test questions to his opinion others you would lose a lot of points.

    Course highlights:

It was good to learn a little bit about other religions and experience another religion other than my own. onto of that being involved in service was fun.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Take this course with a different professor and don't take his comments personally

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Mrs. Carney encourages class discussion and is highly informative. She encourages you to know the names of all the students in the class by having name tags on your desk, like at the UN.

    Course highlights:

It was a standard religion class, and the highlight was that at the end, we presented on another faith tradition.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not buy the books. When there is a reading, do it, but go to the library, where they will have your book.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It is a great start to the theology requirements. Every student at JCU must take TRS101 but taking it with Dr. Hanenburg will allow you to gain a perspective on theology from perspectives outside the religious realm which is awesome for people who do not want to have to read the bible every night for homework for an entire semester.

    Course highlights:

The course has a service learning component meaning that you are required to do weekly service in the city of Cleveland and then the paper at the end of the semester is a reflection on the time you spent at the service site, what you learned and how it relates to what you learned in class.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Read the assignments that he gives for homework because he likes to give pop-quizzes and they do count for a pretty substantial percentage of your final grade.
