    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would highly recommend this course to any student looking to learn more about the communication aspect of conflict management. Conflict, overall, typically arises out of communication or miscommunication and this course offers many different approaches to assessing and working through various types of conflict. Critical thinking takes place as well as theory and application in every class meeting.

    Course highlights:

The main highlight for me was seeing that so many approaches to managing conflict could be applied to different types of conflict. So many strategies have the potential to manage interpersonal conflicts as well as larger-scale global conflicts given the proper application, time and communication environment. This class changed my perspective on the reality of successfully and ethically managing any type of conflict.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

The best advice I have is to attend every class and pay attention to how the readings intersect with discussions and activities. Both will offer valuable insights that you can take into your personal and professional life. Also, keep an open mind. Not everyone in the class will hold the same opinions, but respectful discourse always provides a positive learning atmosphere.
