    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class if you want an introduction into the nutrition major, or even if you just need a basic science. It was extremely interesting and the professor is absolutely excellent! There was great class engagement and though the class was challenging at times, there were very helpful review sessions with the professor outside of class. The discussions that were involved in each lecture really made a big class feel small. It also made the lecture information more understandable and easier to interpret. This was my favorite class I took throughout freshman year!

    Course highlights:

The highlight of this course was learning all about foods and how our digestive system processes food. We learned how to read nutrition labels which was very helpful, as I could understand more about what I was eating and buying. Also, learning about our stomach and digestive system was very complex but also very interesting. This class gave me a new interest and love for nutrition!

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

To succeed in this class you need to attend every lecture, as well as go to the out of class study sessions. This is what really gives you what you need to succeed. A study tip I have is to save the powerpoint on your computer, so you do not have to write down everything yourself. That way you can just type extra notes that she says out loud in lecture. Make sure to write down the extra points she says, as some end up being bonus points on exams!
