Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Leff is very straight forward and makes sure that you understand the material he is presenting. He gives you lecture notes so that you don't have to focus on only writing things down, but instead on the lecture.

    Course highlights:

I learned so much in this class! I learned in depth knowledge about the basics of bacteria and viruses and how they are studied. I also learned how they relate to the health field and why its so important to know these things.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Notecards definitely help with this class, and you will need a lot. Make sure to know everything that has been gone over in class. I also recommend a digital recorder that way if you miss anything in class you can go back and listen to it afterwards.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It is a required course for nursing majors. It focuses a lot on diseases, bacteria, viruses, and a whole lot more. It can be a very interesting course for some and the professor is very knowledgeable about the material covered in class.

    Course highlights:

This course taught me to be more cautious when it comes to things concerning one's health and it broadened my knowledge on disease transmission, viruses, bacteria, different kinds of pathogens, and much more.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Do not fall behind! You need to stay up to date and make sure to review everything after it is discussed in class. It is a lot to take in but it is certainly doable if you put in the effort. The textbook covers more than you need to know for the course so focus more on what the professor says to look at from the textbook.
