    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

You really need to spend a lot of time on this course. It can be difficult if you are taking a lot of other demanding classes. There is a ton of reading required and very specific homework instructions. However, I received feedback on all of my assignments that has helped me become a better technical writer.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to write in AP-style for print news, feature writing, broadcast television, and press releases. As a communication major, this is all extremely beneficial for my future! We also reviewed common grammar mistakes, which are so Important to avoid in any communication position.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I would suggest taking this course with some classes that aren't so demanding. If that is not an option, I would be prepared to spend a lot of time on this course and to email your professor with any concerns. She is really there to help and cares about your success.
