    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course if you are in any way interested in learning more about how the society around you works. It is a lecture course, however, there was often class participation and discussions to keep you involved.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were mainly just learning the reasons why we as people in a society act the way we do. We learned about the different roles in our world and overall how to function in a changing society. After this class, you do sometimes think about the world with a different perspective. It's as if you were given insight to the very complicated world we live in.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

To succeed in the course, you must do the readings before coming to class. I found it helps you pay attention better and you already have an idea of what the lecture is about. If you take and understand the notes from the lectures, you will most definitely do well on the exam.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Good course, even though sociology isn't my favorite topic. He lectures based off of powerpoint slides, and there are a total of 3 non-cumulative exams for the entire course.

    Course highlights:

The way in which groups interact with each other, which creates a basis for other courses involving sociology.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Come to class for the participation credit.
