    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Does not allow any room for discussion. Concepts taught as indisputable facts.

    Course highlights:

I learned that some professors allow their bias to influence their grading and curriculum too much.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't take it. Many other classes at Kent teach the same subject matter, but better.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I took this class in order to get a core out of the way, not going in with any genuine interest of the subject matter. This teacher, however, helped me to engage and gain interest in the problems going on around the world, and understand how they affect me and what to do about it. There was never boring day in class and she is a very funny, enthusiastic professor looking to help you learn.

    Course highlights:

Each section is a different main branch of social problems. One of my favorites was the feminism topic. Feminism comes with such a negative connotation so I thoroughly enjoyed seeing the reality behind fighting for women's rights, and it was interesting learning it from a minority woman as well.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Come to class excited and willing to participate. Study for the test and take advantage of the extra study sessions, as they help immensely.
