Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I thought it was really interesting to learn about the "abnormal" side of the human mind and behavior. I think the psychologically insane are something that's fascinating to a lot of people, especially with Hollywood and the movie industry. This course really took fascination a step further and explained why certain people are diagnosed with these diseases, how they can be treated, and also what to expect if you ever cross paths with someone who is currently suffering from a psychological illness.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot about schizophrenia, depression, personality disorders, narcissistic people, etc. I didn't just learn ABOUT these things, however. ... I also learned how people become this way, how it can be prevented, and the long term side effects people with these diseases must face.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Take it. The professor is very knowledgable and his power points are excellent. If you are looking for supplementary notes (on all the slideshows), check out my Study Soup account (aims321) at www.studysoup.com where you can download all of my notes from last semester.
