    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Stroup is one of the hardest professors in this section, but she makes up for in bonus points. If you already have taken Chem 1 and Chem 2 in high school I recommend this. I was able to study minimally for this class and fill in the point gaps with easy extra credit.

    Course highlights:

The extra credit is what drew me to this professor. Even though it isn't anything too crazy, it felt reassuring that I would have opportunities to make up bad quizzes or exams if need be.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

If you do not have a back ground in chemistry do not take this course. My friends that were learning chem for the first time either bombed every exam or struggled immensely.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course if you have any interest in science at all. It is a very basic understanding of chemistry, but it moves at a good pace, there are a lot of practice problems to ensure you understand the concepts, and there are so many ways/people to get additional help with the material. Dr. Fenk is great at answering any and all questions, and he always has additional examples to show you to really drive the point home.

    Course highlights:

This course hit on everything i learned in high school chemistry, and then built of of it to begin to explain more complex theories.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Time management. There is a decent amount of homework that must be done, but you have a long time to do each assignment. Get ahead and do not wait until the last day to begin an assignment because you will not finish it.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

For pre-nursing students, this course is a great way to go way more in depth than what is generally taught in high school.

    Course highlights:

This course made me realize that college chemistry isn't as scary as it is made out to be. I learned a lot of key information that I could utilize.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Stay on top of studying or it could get overwhelming
