Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course highlights:

Human body systems, plants and ecology were some main lessons.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Go to office hours to review the questions you got wrong on a test

    | No strong feelings either way.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because bio lab is one of the easier ones to take.

    Course highlights:

This course teaches you under four different sections: Microbial Diversity, Nutrients and Algal Growth, Human Physiology, and Ecology & Ethology.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not miss a day of bio lab because you will have to make it up, if you have to miss a day do not miss a day of the lab you will be writing your lab report on. They will make you do the report solely on the information of the group you did your make up lab with. This means you either have to have the time to attend two of those blocks (if the lab is a two parter, most are), or rely on the kindness of the strangers you worked with.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I am currently trying to major in Biological Sciences at VT, so anyone who is attempting to major in Biological Sciences will need to take this course, but if you enjoy science in general , taking the course will only help you discover more about the world you live in.

    Course highlights:

I really liked Professor Via and his sense of humour. I also enjoyed learning about various subjects in science from the digestive system in a human to the various types of biomes on planet earth. In this course, I learned how to create strong study habits, and I also was able to become more intelligent by staying calm even when studying for the stressful final.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I recommend only taking the course if you truly do enjoy science. If you do not, this course is not for you. I also recommending writing the notes instead of typing them because you may retain the information in class better that way.
