Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

If you're thinking about taking a language, Chinese is always great because of the success the country itself has had lately. This course is taught by a professor that grew up in China and teaches you through much interactions to read, write, and speak the language.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were speaking days when you really got to practice your comprehension of the language, and weekly vocabulary where you could ask questions and practice the words with your professor instead of trying to learn them on your own.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

If you are considering taking this course, my best advice would be to make lots of flashcards and make friends within the class to practice speaking with. Also, go to his office hours to have one on one to really perfect your understanding of the language.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I'd recommend this class if you're interested in broadening your horizons when it comes to language barriers. Learning Chinese opens up a world full of international business and connections with millions of more people.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were learning to read, write and speak the most used language in the world. The textbooks and videos made it interesting and topics of conversation were relatable.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I'd tell students considering this course to definitely take it and give it a try. A new language can be very difficult but if you put your mind to it, Professor Guo is very helpful and you'll end up very successful in the class.
