    This class was tough.

Learning basic accounting concepts is essential in understanding how a whole company operates financially. The are many important concepts and terms to learn in this class that will be helpful in your future career.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Go to class and pay attention. Here is a lot of math involved so you have to go to class and see how the professor works out the problem.

    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

If you are an HTM major, you will have to take this course. For some (like me) accounting is just one of those things that doesn't "click". In this case, I found it VERY helpful to reach out to your T/A or Dr. Easterwood for help. Also, tutoring sessions are useful. Go to class, and take notes. But the biggest thing that you must do to succeed is to practice problems. After class if you have time, go sit down for an hour or so and just do some problems that were gone over in class. It really helps.

    Course highlights:

I somehow did learn quite a bit. Aside from all the rigorousness of the course, I am glad that I succeeded and learned as much as I did. I just hope it will be useful in my career.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours
