    helpful professor that wants to see you succeed, enormous amount of outside resources given to help you study

    Course highlights:

    basics of managerial accounting, easy to follow and straight forward math

    Advice for students:

    use the resources available to you online, go to office hours as soon as you start struggling with something because topics build on each other

    Course Overview:

    Sharp is extremely prepared and knowledgeable and wants you to succeed in his class. He gives more than enough practice work to do outside of class and is more than willing to hold extra office hours when you don't understand something

    Course highlights:

    He explained everything thoroughly making sure that we understood the material enough to perform well on exams. I learned all of the basics of managerial accounting

    Advice for students:

    Go to class and actually take notes, keep your formulas organized, take advantage of the exam review sessions he holds, utilize the resources he posts online when studying

    This class was tough.

    It's necessary for all BIT majors

    Course highlights:

    This course focuses on teaching students the essentials of how accounting works in a company whether it's small businesses or corporations. Learning basic accounting concepts is essential in understanding how a whole company operates financially. The are many important concepts and terms to learn in this class that will be helpful in your future career.

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

    Go to class and pay attention. Here is a lot of math involved so you have to go to class and see how the professor works out the problem.
