    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

As a freshman, there's a good chance that not all of your senioritis has worn off. This class contains about 400 students and is lecture-style. The concepts and theories were hard for me to grasp. It was also only taught at 2:30, by then my body was ready to shut down due to my previous two classes on the same day. The exams are hard as well. He allows us to print the study guides, but it's just so much material in one unit.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of the course were when he would crack jokes. He's a somewhat funny guy. I learned that I can achieve my goals if I just try. Late in the year I was failing. And he gave me the opportunity to change that by writing a 1000 word paper on a whole unit, As a result, it saved me from failing.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

If you're going to take this class, make sure that you have a goal to pass no matter what. Sit as close as you can. When class is over, go talk to him; ask him questions. Do the readings and don't miss assignment deadlines. Be better than me.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It is an interesting class that will help you gain a great basis for studying Sociology. And if you don't end up studying soc, it still provides different views on society and culture that you probably haven't thought about before.

    Course highlights:

I really enjoyed the course topics.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Definitely go to class because he sometimes gives extra credit points just for doing the work. Also make sure to do the extra credit assignments because they can help to boost you final grade.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This class is a fairly easy A as long as you come to class and take good notes. All of Prof. King's exams are open note, so you can bring anything with you to the exam as long as it is not electronic. Professor King also provides extra credit opportunities throughout the semester.

    Course highlights:

I'm very interested in sociology, so I was very intrigued by all aspects of the course. My favorite parts of the course were the crime rate studies, especially those concerning college campuses and "righteous slaughter".

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

GO TO CLASS AND TAKE NOTES!! The class should be a breeze from there!! Also, don't forget to ask lecture questions on Scholar, they're easy points!
