Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This class is the most retarded scheme that this school has come up with to take people's $.

    Course highlights:

If someone needs a class to learn this, then they shouldn’t even be a business major at this, or any university!

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

worthless class. this prof is quite honestly the worst I had in my 4 years

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Concepts is a very difficult class, I would not recommend taking it if it is not required. That said, this class teaches you so much valuable information, and will help you later a great deal. Because this class was so difficult, all of my later classes have seemed very doable in comparison. I took the class with Hart and enjoyed it, but I have also heard good things about Klock. Hart is more hands off whereas Klock assigns more work and is generally more intense. The difficulty level is about the same, its just what style of teaching you learn best with.

    Course highlights:

You get good at very complex TVM problems, learn about stocks and the economy in general, and learn about bonds and bond pricing. With Hart there is also a very complex Excel project that teaches you a lot about financial modeling in Excel.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Go into the class knowing that you will need to put in a lot of time and effort. Stay on top of everything and don't fall behind early. Pay special attention to the textbook practice problems and the in class examples/quizzes.
