    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This operations and supply chain management course offers a good foundation for your understanding of the time and materials put into the production of any good or service. The class material is very applicable to the real world and clearly presented.

    Course highlights:

I learned about both the pros and cons of outsourcing and about the variety of manufacturing processes. I also thought the waiting line theory was interesting; I never realized that companies actually analyze customers' waiting times and determine how long they are willing to wait before leaving and not buying a good or service.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I found that I did not necessarily need to read each chapter thoroughly; I mainly just read the key terms and their definitions, although I did find useful information embedded in some of the passages. It is very important to work on the assigned practice problems, as they will help prepare you for the quizzes and the final exam.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

If you take this class during summer, its 5 times more work than during semester.

    Course highlights:

It is an online class so you can work in your own pace. You learn about product design, system reliability and all the stuff you would learn in operation management class.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

If you have time, take it during the semester with Clark.. Its a lot easier

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The materials you learn BIT 3414 very interesting but the professor might make it bring sometimes. If you just bear through your boredom and attend the class, you should be good to get an A because exams are mostly reflections of class notes.

    Course highlights:

You get to learn about how factories and manufacturing companies are managed and how they function.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

As long as you attend the class and review your notes every once in a while , you should be set!
