    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This course was an excellent first semester course that eases a new student into college style of teaching. The tests were not too hard and the professor did a good job at telling students how to study and what to study specifically. He would also make sure to throw in some videos and TED talks in case students were dosing off and needed a bit of a re-charge which was nice. He is a very understanding professor who definitely made me feel comfortable as a freshman.

    Course highlights:

We were taught the basic of research, and some coding related to statistics. We read lots of research papers so I am familiar with the format and how to properly summarize one which will be beneficial in any future class. I learned a bit about coding as well, how to make graphs using the "R program" and the basics of coding.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Go to class because he often gives extra credit and participation credit which helps towards the end of the semester. Get ahead on the group project because that's your final so you can get done way ahead and focus on other finals during the last week.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This class gives a lot of information on different types of research and research techniques. The course information wasn't to hard to absorb and the TA was extremely helpful in helping the students understand the information.

    Course highlights:

This class taught me different types of research methods, when to use which ones, and how they are should be applied properly. We also learned a little but about statistics and probability as well.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Use the study guides that the TA gives out. They are extremely helpful for the tests. For the research paper try and get a draft done as early as possible because if you show it to the TA they will most likely tell you exactly what you should fix to make it right before it's due so you get a good grade.
